2 weeks today...

Warning.. lots of pics
So, Holy Cow...time flies!!! Its been 2 weeks today since are sweet little Skylar was born. I can't believe it. She had her 2 week appointment today and she has already grown a lot. She is 7 pounds 3 oz. and 20 inches long. I can't convince her to stop sleeping all day and just sleep all night. That is a work in progress that hopefully she will get very SOON! She isn't a crier though. She is easy to please and just likes to hang out. My mom was here for 2 weeks and now is gone and its sad. Taylor LOVED having her here and asks for her all the time now. Especially when she isn't getting what she wants from me. We blessed Sky on sunday after conference so that my parents would be able to be here as well. IT was a great blessing and I feel so grateful for Justin that he could give it to her and for a family that is Forever! I love being a mom and wouldn't trade it ever! Conference was awesome even though I need to go back and listen/read ALL the talks again because Taylor would not stop being crazy. oh and I LOVE that its fall outside!

She is Here!!!

She is here! Skylar Grace Wirig. 6 lbs. 11 oz. 18.5 inches long. Dark Hair and perfect. We love her so much. I went in on Tuesday Morning at 6 a.m. and got induced. Had her at 2:39 p.m. Labor was fine. Delivery was perfect. She had the cord wrapped around her neck 3 times and what they call a "true knot" which just means it was a real knot in the cord and tied tight. But she was fine. Our doctor was awesome and we couldn't be more happy with how everything went. We love her so much and So does Taylor!
Taylor holding her sis for the first time just minutes after she was born. She can't stop kissing her.
Taylor always has to hold "it" she says. With her cousin Carter who is 5 days younger than her.
Our first family photo just right after she was born.

And Taylor at the park loving life. I love her so much and so happy I have two little girls to love now.

Homecoming, Reunion, Montana

Taylor and Emma With Aunt Kara who just returned home from Kirtland on her mission. The Ohio, Cleveland Mission (they were 3 and 5 months old last time they saw her)
We all made some signs...here is one of Steve's as a Joke....
All the grandkids waiting super patiently for Aunt Kara

Then it was the Wirig Family Reunion. It was disney themed. Here I am playing Minute to Win it... oh and I won it!
Also, we had a pirate/princess party so since we didn't really plan ahead, we threw together our pirate family costumes out of stuff we had...
The kids putting on a show down on the stage!
Next we just got back from Montana. My little cousin Peter just got baptized. IT was fun to see family and just hang out away from everything. He got baptized in their river since they live kinda far from the font.

The boys shooting some arrows
Some things Taylor does now... HIDES> yep, this is her in my In-laws game closet in their basement... I was looking all over for her and had a feeling to check in there for some reason.. there she was, fast asleep and stayed there for 2 and a half hours out cold.

She also discovered that she loves showers. Here she is loving it.

And just because I have been asked for a belly picture... here is one.. in my pirate costume.. its the only kinda side shot I have so sorry. Now I'm almost 34 weeks.

I love to see the temple

Taylor LOVES temples. Everytime we drive by a church she calls it a temple, but then corrects herself and says church. But she knows a temple is a temple. She spots them from forever away. Luckily we live just down the street from timp temple. So we stop there on the way home from anywhere sometimes so she can just look at it. Pretty sure she things Angel moroni is a monkey though. She points up and says "monkeys!" then she goes on to sing "no more monkeys jumpin on the bed." so... pretty sure that is where people get crazy ideas what goes on in our temples because of kids like mine that just say whatever. So if you ever hear there are monkeys jumpin on the beds in the temple.. you can blame that one on us! I love to see the temple is her favorite primary song too... love it!

4th, Zoo, Disneyland and Malibu

Its been a fun past few weeks. The 4th of July was great as usual. We went to Justin's Parents' neighborhood and watched their cute parade and had the big breakfast and games. Then we just hung out, swam, and ate some good food. Later we watched fireworks. Danielle and her family were up from St. George, so we took all the kids to the zoo on monday. Also, justin's brother BJ and wife Katie blessed their cute new little baby Ellie on sunday.

Uncle Justin

So then Randomly and last minute we all decided to go down to California for a fun week of beach and play. we got everyone we could from the wirig Fam and took the trek out there to Malibu where some of my family have a beach house and were super kind to let us stay there while nobody else was. My favorite vacations as a kid were at that house. We saw a seal, some dolphins, lots of surfers and paddle boarders, and awesome view everyday. The house is sitting on stilts, so the water literally goes under the house and splashes up onto the lower deck when its high tide. We all slept great with the sound of the ocean just right in our ears! On Friday, we also just last minute went to Disneyland, and as usual, was a blast! They had this awesome parade that the kids LOVED and all the characters stopped right in front of where we were and gave high 5's and pulled the kids out to dance in the street with them. It was so fun. I couldn't go on all the big rides again, but it was magical day as always. We ended it with the disneyland fireworks which is my favorite part!

Parade
Standing in line for Peter pan
Daddy's Girl for sure!
Tay found some binocs and thought it was a camera... so she would say "cheese" everytime she would look through them.
Nephew Camden holding the big ol shell
So taylor woke up and went out on the upper deck to go look at the ocean. I went out and couldn't find her. I snuck up on this chair and there she was just takin it all in. So cute

The House
We missed everyone that couldn't come!
Baby is doing good. I am almost 30 weeks thank heavens..feeling it, and looking it.
Sister-in-law Kara gets home next week from her mission in Kirtland. I can't even wait.
Life is good.
I also got to stop by and visit my mom who is with my grandma in the hospital in Vegas after her horrible car accident, but she is doing great.
