Summer Has Been CRAZY fun!

It has been so long since I have posted anything on this blog! Pretty sure I don't have anyone that checks this anymore, but if you do, I have an update of our summer happenings! There are a lot of pictures for my own self, but enjoy if you would like.

This summer has been so busy and full of fun! We have spent a lot of time at the pool, playing outside at parks, reunions, and trips to St. George. The 4th of July was a lot of fun and we did the annual neighborhood parade at Justin's parent's house. Taylor marched the whole time. We had fun that day swimming and eating loads of good food. I took the kids down to St. George with my sister-in-law Kara to watch their cousins while Stu and Danielle went on Trek. It was so fun to spend time with Kara and all of those little kids. We went to a splash pad, toddler time at the library, played outside doing water games, and just hanging out. One of my best friends, Mikale, got married last week! I am so excited she is back in Utah. She was such a beautiful bride, and I also got to see some old familiar faces from the Raintree days!

We just got back from Panguitch, UT from the Barton family reunion. (Justin's side) It was fun to camp and hang out with everyone and meet more family that I never had in person. They are all so great and its so fun to be part of a huge awesome family. We were only there for a few days, but it went by fast and the kids stayed busy playing with all the other little cousins running around.

Update on Taylor... she is the funniest kid in the world. She sings CONSTANTLY, she is in gymnastics, loves to pray and read her scriptures (wooo so far so good) and she is just a great little girl. I am so lucky she was sent to our family!

Update on Skylar... She is now 10 months. She started walking at 9 months old. She is EVERYWHERE! Her and Taylor LOVE each other. They laugh and play all day long. She tries to repeat words we tell her, but she can say mama, dada, tayter, gma, papa and who knows what else. She is such a loving little girl who loves everyone. We love her so much and it's so fun to watch her grow!

Wirigs Take over Disneyworld!!

So Fair warning... lots of pictures, but its for my own record!

Last week we got back from a very fun-filled, exciting, and awesome trip to disneyworld... thank you to Justin's Parents!! IT was amazing. EVERYONE got to go...12 kids under 10... and 12 adults! WE all made it on the plane and 4+ something hours later we landed in Florida! We boarded the disney bus that took us to our disney themed hotel! We swam around and went to bed. The next morning bright and early we were all up and headed to the first park, Hollywood Studios. Fun. Kimball and Kara went to their version of american idol we got to go cheer kimball one of the final showdowns. I was chosen to be in the Indiana jones show... thank you fam for volunteering me... it was a fun day. The next day we went to magic kingdom which is basically disneyland on a bigger scale. The kids LOVED that and it was super fun to watch them and be with them. The next day we went to animal kingdom and went on an african safari. AWESOME!!! Seriously, I couldn't see any fences protecting us from all those things right by our cruiser. Then we went to Epcot for the other half of that day. We went back to magic kingdom the next day, and then our last day we spent touring the world back in Epcot. IT was very fun... VERY HOT and HUMID!! Holy cow! We woke up at 3:30 sunday morning to head out to the airport... so that was a couple hours of sleep that night at best. Boarded the plane and made it home safe and sound to new snow on the mountains and freezing cold weather! RIDICULOUS if you ask me! The dream is over and back to real life. We are so grateful for the chance we got to be with our whole Wirig family and the love we feel for everyone of them is... well its big ok. Big is the only word I know how to spell out of all the other words i Am thinking :) Thank you betty and kimball/mom and dad Wirig! It was awesome!

Happy mothers day to ALL women out there! I am so blessed to have the cutest, aw

esomest, funniest, and happiest kids ever! I am so grateful every day for the chance I have to be a mom. I do admit it is SUPER hard sometimes and I wonder how I will survive the day without losing it, but I think motherhood is something that heavenly father NEVER lets you do alone. I think there is always some "extra heavenly help" always with you. I can't imagine my life without these girls in my life. I'm so humbled by the opportunity to raise these children of God. I love you Taylor and Skylar!

Thanks to the best husband ever too that helps me get through day to day. HE is a GREAT dad! They love him so much. HE made it a beautiful mothers day! We also got to witness our niece, Alice, get blessed in church yesterday too. I love babies! I'm grateful for a wonderful mother-in-law who I feel so loved by! And I am grateful for all the mothers/women/friends out there who have impacted my life for good!

Last but not least my own mother! She is a rockstar of a mom! I love her tons and happy that she has never stopped loving me... even when I've been really hard to love... like ALL of High School! You all are amazing!

Easter '11 and such

Easter was a fun time this year. Every holiday is just more and more fun the older our kids get. Taylor actually understood the whole easter bunny thing but more importantly understood what Easter is all about. If you ask her what happened on Easter she tells you that Jesus died and then 2 angels moved a rock after 3 days and he was resurrected. Not bad. Her nursery leaders were loving it. Saturday we had a big easter breakfast and Egg Hunt in the Wirig downstairs...all the cousins and everyone was there except BJ, Katie and their two cute girls... we all missed them very much though! So Taylor is full blown hilarious/terrible twos...so that keeps me busy.. and skylar is crawling like crazy and has 3 teeth so far! Life! Whew.
