Washington Trip and Baby

(Taylor ready to load up and go flying on the airplane)

Taylor and I went on a little trip while Justin stayed home and went to school and worked...(he got a job at Adobe so thats exciting) We flew to Washington to visit my parents for the week. It was fun and Tay got spoiled to death by "damma" and "campapa". The weather couldn't have been more perfect. We played outside and went shopping and just mostly hung out and had a good time visiting. We got to skype justin everyday so we could talk to him.. that was fun and we wish he could have come with us. My parents have a huge great dane and a cat... then there are a ton of animals running all over the fields and yard all the time... Taylor was in heaven! We aren't around any animals here so it was fun for her to see real life things instead of in her books.

(Below: Teaching taylor that the smell of washington rocks is THE best smell in the world)

BJ and Katie had their second little girl on Tuesday... welcome Ellie... Taylor LOVES her cousin already and asks to go back and see her

(Below: Found her this morning stuck in the toy box a panic...took just a sec to take a pic)

Where to Start?! and we're having a...

Yes, first off we went to get our ultrasound yesterday and saw our baby GIRL! So cute and she was moving all over. We have a dvd of it and pictures. I love her a ton already. It will be fun for tay to have a sister so close and for us not to have to buy all new boy stuff!!!

I said I was going to update this once a week... that was a month ago or something. A LOT has been happening so get ready for a big ol post!
Justin and I got to get away by ourselves for the first time since we have had Taylor. His parents watched Taylor for us down in St. George with his sister's kids while they went on a get away as well. They are the best! We went to California and just basically did whatever we wanted. We met up with Danielle and Stuart at Disneyland on friday and that was a lot of fun. Other than that we just took it easy, visited some family, and drove around.

My old roommate, Mikale, Came into town too so a few of us got together to for a little bit and catch up.

Then we had Easter. Tay had a lot of fun this year! Thanks to her grandma and grandpa Wirig, they had an easter egg hunt for us all at their house! It was conference weekend as well and my whole family was here for my sister Michelle's wedding. It was really good and for some reason I have no pictures of it. But we are really happy for them! It was fun, as always, to spend time with my family!

Taylor loves hats and getting dressed. She brought me everything to wear right here except the sweater. Not bad I guess.

This is Taylor in our parking lot...she would NOT cross the big ol cracks. Now she has gotten more brave and doesn't care. But it was pretty funny.

Don't mind the heart attack on the plate, but we went out to dinner at the Outback.

I came out of the bathroom and taylor was staring up at me with this cheeser smile and put the glasses on all by herself...she was very proud! She LOVES wearing glasses as well!

Another thing she LOVES is basketball. She loves to watch it and play it. The ball is as big as her still, but she loves it and it was her first "BIG" word a while ago. "Bat-ket-bah!"

We all went to Thanksgiving point petting zoo place with the Tay's cousins. It was fun and she loved it...she even rode a horse!

Families ARE Forever!

This past week I have felt so blessed to know that I have a knowledge of the plan of happiness, that I get to be with my family for eternity. There is no end, I love it! My heart is squished with love for my two families...Katz's and Wirig's... but I am super grateful that Justin and I have made the best decision to be married for time and ALL eternity, and now our little Taylor and this other little little on the way are always going to be with us.. plus the other ones that I don't know about yet... I love family... but mostly I love these guys....

One of my favorite hymns:

"I have a family here on Earth. They are so good to me. I want to share my life with them through all Eternity.
Families can be together forever, through Heavenly Father's plan. I always want to be with my own family, and the Lord has shown me how I can. The Lord, has shown me how I can."

~I teach the primary every sunday, and when they sing this, I cry like a baby... how embarrassing, but I just love those dang little kids!

Scouts?

Yep, we have been called to be Webelos leaders in our ward... I know NOTHING about boys or scouts, but I think it will be fun. It will be the best to do this with Justin. I just wish they sold those dang cookies...

Now Announcing...

So, we have been busy with school and life, but it doesn't stop us from having fun. I guess now I can officially announce that we are having another baby in September! We are really excited. Had the first doctor appointment today and we got to hear the fast little heart beat! Love that sound! Everything is looking good and we are just excited.

Made this little sweatshirt for taylor to wear... thats how she told Justin the good news... she went up to him and said "baby"

She is the cutest... I don't know how this next one will be, but if its at least as half as good as her, we will be happy happy!

Too Long

So, again, its been way too long since I have posted anything on here and way too much has happened. I hope I can remember most everything that has been going on. First of all it was Justin's birthday at the end of January, and so, we followed our tradition of going to the Jazz game after being stuffed by Tucanos.

Then we went to California, it was for my grandpa's funeral, but it was still a great time with Family.. a lot that I haven't seen for years and years! We went to the beach, walked around the city, and just hung out. Taylor HAD to push the stroller the whole time, which made time go by slower than we would have liked but she is a big girl.. 15 months old and 17 pounds!

And then it was Valentine's day. I have to say I love this holiday. It just reminds me how lucky I am to have the husband and family that I do. I love them all! Justin's sis Danielle and her fam were up for the holiday and its always a blast to play with them. We all went to the dino museum here at Thanksgiving point.

So I am re-committing myself to blogging once a week, I have gotten so bad and this is going to be an exciting, fun filled year!

...and a Happy New Year! (christmas part 4) St George

So New Years was fun. I never have really liked this holiday very much.. just because I think I am so tired by midnight, or we just don't do anything that exciting. But this year was my favorite new years eve and all! The day after we got back from seattle, we got in the car and drove down to St. George to be with Justin's sister and her family. we love going down there! It was fun to visit, eat, play the wii, and play with the kids.. and EAT! So we decided to do a fondue dinner. 3 Course thing with cheese then brothy stuff for the meat and veggies and then chocolate for desert of course. LOVED it! Then we went outside and did some fireworks with all the kids. Then we celebrated new years at 9:30ish, and the kids went to bed, and us big kids stayed up and played! It was so much fun to be there with them and I'm grateful for family that lives so close and wish my own fam lived closer, but it was fun to spend the holidays with so many people we love! Oh and on christmas we got to talk to justin's brother and sister on their missions in Denmark and Kirtland! MIss their guts but they are doing amazing! Merry New years everybody!
